Mary Katherine Wathen is co-founder of West of Perfection, a consulting and coaching firm that helps companies increase the retention of women talent by supporting personal and professional life balance. As the lead business consultant, she draws from her experience in corporate America for a Fortune 50 company, owning and operating her own business, and coaching women for the past 20 years.
She specializes in galvanizing teams and companies to take them to the next level. Mary Katherine is certified in The Working Genius assessment and the emotional intelligence training EQ. Mary Katherine graduated from Pfizer's Phase 6 Training Program at the top of her class.
MK holds degrees in corporate communications and political science from the University of Kentucky, where she was the Student Body President, Homecoming Queen, and a D-I cross country runner for the Wildcats. She is a seasoned marathon runner and resides in Kentucky with her husband and their 7 children.
