Case Study: Partnering with the Community to Build a Workforce through Programs

This session will cover how to use non-profits and your community to build out a workforce by utilizing transferable skills. Now more than ever it’s important to give back to our communities and help others. What better way than to collaborate with community partnerships and non-profits to open opportunities for groups of people who don't have the same opportunities as others. In this session you will take away the following:

  • Where to start if you want to start looking at talent in areas you haven’t been before.
  • What transferable skills means and how it applies to your organization.
  • How to have your leaders support and help your initiative
  • What basics you need to have in order to build a workforce program

This session is focused on innovative ways to create hiring programs and tap into talent that you previously haven’t looked at.
